The environmental portrait workshop is how we learn to portray human/people with their environment. Really challenging since we need to find proper background for our subjects. As well as beautiful lighting, great composition, friendly approaching and natural posing to get the most natural and expressive looks.
The Mentor is myself:
THE DATE: 4 days 3 nights
THE EQUIPMENT:
- Any DSLR/Mirrorless camera
- Lens: All type of lens. Preferably: 24-70 and 70-200mm
- Speedlite +trigger/receiver. Provided with universal triggers if you dont have.
- Laptop with Adobe Camera Raw /Lightroom + Photoshop CC installed + Nik software
THE BASIC SKILL REQUIREMENT and LEARNING MATERIAL:
- Basic photography skill: Exposure, composition, lighting
- Familiar working with layers + masking in post processing.
- Posing, find the proper background and create a story telling pictures.
- Lighting : Natural and artificial lighting. When, where, how and why we decide!
- Dramatizing picture via postprocessing.
- A unique way to process via luminosity and colour selecting.
- Toning: Natural looks and painting looks.
- A bunch of photoshop actions to fasten your work
THE FEE:
USD -- / person. Only maximum 6 people in a group.
Includes: Room (one person one room), meals and transportation.
Excludes: Flight and personal expenses. And driver+assistants tip.

Payment is transfered 100% before March 20th (this will save your seat). Cancelation fee is 25% before that date. 50% before April and 100% (unrefundable) after April 20.

Video during workshop is prohibited. However participants will get handout and photoshop actions.

ITINERARY
May 4
- All participants from outside Jakarta/Indonesia arrive maximum 3 pm in Soekarno-Hatta airport. Heading all the way to the lake. It takes around 4-5 hours depending on traffic.
- 8:00 pm. Check-in and dinner. A special dishes!

May 5
5.30 am: Start Walking to the lake which takes 20 minutes
6:30 am: Session I: Environmental portrait I
8:30 am: Back to hotel and breakfast
11:00 am: Heading back to Jakarta (Serpong area)
4:00 pm: Check-in hotel
7:00 pm: Dinner
May 6
5:00 am Heading to village #1
6:15 am: Environmental portraits
11:00 am: Brunch
3:00-6:00 pm: Post processing
7:00 pm: Dinner
May 7
5:00 am Heading to village #2
6:15 am: Environmental portraits
11:00 am: Brunch + Checkout hotel
1:00-4:00 pm: Post processing .
