• When: -  October 24-29, 2017 (Tuesday-Sunday)

• Where : Flight Destination Jayapura (DJJ) . Shooting place Wamena and Jayapura

• What: Portrait and Environmental portrait of Papua tribes on their beautiful nature

• Who: Anyone who keen about portrait, culture and nature. Medium level of photography skill and have adventurous spirit. This trip only for 7 people. Have the ability to operate artificial lights. The trip-workshop will be condacted by myself Rarindra and our local photo-guide Irfak.

• How much:  USD (50% deposit or full payment to be officially considered as participant)

 

 

Here is the itinerary:

 

Oct 24th

Participants shall arrive in Sentani Airport (Jayapura-DJJ) before 9:30 am.

Participants who will arrive earlier (on 23th) due to flight availability, can manage to stay at nearby hotel.

9:30-12:30 Waiting for 3rd flight to Wamena. The departure is 12:30 local time.

13:30 Arrival at Wamena Airport

14:15 Hotel Check-in and lunch

15:00-17.00 Meet, greet  locals, do survey and shoot some portraits.

19:00 Dinner and free & easy time.

12:30 Lunch and some photography discussion before proceed to next session.

14:30 Additional Session : Conceptual Cultural Photography in Beautiful Lake Sentani and Savana. Will be ended at the end of Sun set

18:00 Back to hotel

19:00 Dinner

-Breakfast

-Heading to Airport at 8 am. Depend on your flight schedule, you can manage yourself to airport. It takes 30-45 minutes to airport from hotel.

 

The Fee:

USD 998 is All included. Participants will have double occupancy room, except in Jayapura. Additional USD 215

for single suplement (private room). Deposit USD 500 to be officially on the list of participant.

The Equipment

• All type/brand of DSLR/Mirrorless

• From wide to tele: 16 to 200mm will be usefull. However I recommend to only bring maximum 3 lenses for your convenience.

• All type of external speedlites with trigger/receiver. (Manual or TTL/Hispeed)

• Light Tripod 

• Laptop+mouse with Adobe Camera Raw/Lighroom and Photoshop CC installed. Optional only if you have anything to ask or consult about post processing.

• Non-photography requiremen: Passport, visa (Please check as mostly countries are required VOA only), proper jacket as the temperature can be as low as 10-15 C degree in the morning, personal needs, and recommended to only bring small or medium luggage.
