The ITINERARY

Day-1: We will start the trip from Ngurah Rai International Airport at 1:30 pm international arrival. And have lunch after that to get to know each other and go over the daily іtіnеrаrу of our аdvеnturеѕ ahead. In the afternoon we are going to a village where there is group of traditional Barong Dance will perform only for us. We will stay in Ubud area.

Day-2: Start early morning, we will head to Tegalalang village. We spend the morning photograph in beautiful terrace. Some Balinese ladies with traditional dress and offering will come for us. Plus a beautiful old ladies will be our portrait talents.

Next after that, we will visit a traditional Bali instruments in making. The window lighting in this place is just wonderful to create dramatic portrait of workers.

We will spend the afternoon to shoot the famous photographic place where kids are ‘perform” with water in a dam.

Day-3 This day, we will spend the morning in a very beautiful area: Kintaman. It has Lake and Volcano that reflected perfectly in the lake as the sun began to emerge morning.

We will meet a local Balinese family and will have them as our talents of environmental portrait.

After that, moving toward the west Bali. It takes around 3 hours to reach a very beautiful rice terraces. But it is worth to do. We will meet the land owners (farmers)  and make them as talents environmental portrait.

Day-4 We will start the day heading to Tampak Siring. Still in Ubud area. We will visit a studio. This is not a regular photographic studio but it is a traditional Balinese home designed to shoot people and portrait photography.

Back to hotel and we will move to hotel near the airport. And we wil spend the rest of the day with evaluating our pictures and learn some editing tricks from me. Plus you have a chance to hanging out outside as the place.

Day-5 This day will be spent for moving to another Java Island where the Majestic Bromo located. We will fly 40 minutes from Ngurah Rai, Denpasar to Juanda Airport Surabaya and takes 4 hours trip with  van to Bromo area. After checking-in the hotel, if we still have time we can scout the location. The hotel itself is just side by side the with the mountain. After dinner, we have chance to shoot Astrophotography (optional for one who interested in) just near the hotel.  

Day-6 The sunrise over Mt Bromo is just an unforgettable moment. By the time morning light hit the mountain is an extraordinary moment. If we are lucky then the mountain will be half-covered by mist. Very surreal look. We will head also to lower ground to shoot the portrait of local people (native Tenggerese) with the background of the mountain.

We will spend the afternoon till the dawn at the Metigen Hill to shoot the environmental portrait: The horsemen and his son.

Day-7 This morning we will start the day shooting the horses at Whispering Sands. By the time Sunlight hit the dust/sands it will be a dramatic scenery, plus…horses will be there as our subjects of photography. One special horse will perform for us as he is able to two-leg stand.

After having lunch, we wil visit to the JiwaJawa, a place where it is a lso functioned as photography museum, exhibition hall, hotel and café. A very nice place to hang out.

Afternoon, we will spend the time visitng the farmer village. We will shoot portrait of local farmers.  And again a chance for one who also interested in Astrophotography at night time.

Day-8: The last day, a little bit relax. We will go to ground where there is a three (the one and only three at the area) with the mountain as background. We will shoot the environmental portrait of local people.

After breakfast, we again, will spend the time before leaving the hotel with evatluating our results. I will help choose and evaluate your pictures as well as post processing them.

And we leave the place and have a farewell lunch on the way to airport.
