Come join me, Rarindra, and renown Turkish (Cappadocia based) Photographer Nuri Corbacioglu on first ever Photography Trip in wonderful Cappadocia (and Kayseri), Turkey! A limited 7 participants (excl. Mentors/Tour leaders) will be brought to capture horses, hills, mountain, sheppars, balloon, and many other amazing subjects.

1. Warm clothing . July-Aug-Sep are summer time. (But it is quite chill-cold in the morning)

Two camera bodies is highly suggested.

Lenses: Super Wide to Longer focal length would be useful for capturing horses. Example 300mm, 400mm.

ITINERARY *
Day 1
Arrive at Kayseri Airport and transfer to hotel.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 2
We depart from the hotel before sunrise and drive to Sultan Marshes (Lake) to the South of Erciyes Mountain, to shoot some local horses in the water, the sheppards around the marhes, the reed workers collecting the reed from the reeds and weaving them. During this session, we will have Erciyes Mountain in the background.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Later in the afternoon, we drive to Hurmetci village to photograph around 300 wild yilki horses and some horsemen at sunset, running wild in the dust and creating a dust cloud.
Then, we drive back to our hotel.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 3
At sunrise, we shoot the horses at Swords Valley, with the balloons in the background. There will be around 20 horses at first and then we will shoot 1 horse and 2 children (1 male and 1 female) in their traditional folk costumes. We will do our best for children with colorful eyes for this session.
After the breakfast at the hotel, our guide takes you to Goreme Open Air Museum, where you can see the best-preserved cave churches of Cappadocia with beautiful paintings and frescoes, dating back to the 10th and 11th centuries.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Free time until afternoon.
At a cave church or a historical place with caves, we will shoot 1 Friesian and 1 white Arabian horse.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 4
In the morning, we will shoot 3 whirling dervishes in a valley with rock formations and balloons in the background.
After breakfast at the hotel, we visit an underground city, where our guide tells you why and how those places are carved.
In the afternoon, we will drive to Salt Lake (2,5 hours) to shoot some horses and a local girl in traditional folk costume (red & white) on the lake during sunset and then drive back to Goreme.
Dinner will be at a local restaurant on the way.

Day 5
In the morning, we will drive to Esentepe View Point by Goreme to photograph Goreme village before the sunrise and then drive back to the hotel for breakfast and some free time.
Later, we visit a real pottery workshop in Avanos to photograph the master on duty (with the sunlight coming to his workplace and we will also make smoke in the workshop).
After lunch, we shoot around 3-4 white horses at the Deep Valley, with the sunlight coming through the caves. The light is best at around noon at this location.

Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 6
In the morning, we drive to the Horse Valley to shoot around 100 local horses.
After breakfast at the hotel, we photograph an Afghan sheppard for a few hours with the sheep around the valleys of Cappadocia (documentary-like).
After lunch, we photograph the locals harvesting potatoes, pumpkins, etc. in the fields. There will also be some children around to photograph.

Day 7
After breakfast, we transfer you to Kayseri Airport.
